Very happy with the transformation Goose (my 14 month old 75 # dog) has made after 4 weeks of board and train with Catherine at Cat for Dogs. It was very hard to send her off to boarding school for so long but we are all much happier now that we have the tools we need to walk peacefully in the neighborhood, make relaxed stops at the pet store and even continue to improve recall when off leash. Cat is very knowledgeable and skilled in the system she uses to train dogs. Highly recommend her - you will not be disappointed with the significant change she can accomplish in 4 weeks.

We dropped off Indy, our year old high-energy Golden Retriever, with Catherine for a 4 week board and train. We expressed our concerns with his recall, jumping, and pulling on the leash. Catherine worked diligently each day with Indy and regularly sent us videos tracking his progress. When he came home, we noticed a significant and positive change in both his behavior and obedience. Cat gave Pearl (and me:) a 5 Star puppy lesson! I am so impressed with her responsiveness. I called - and Cat picked up the phone. Then she came over a few hours later! She followed up as well and checked in on how Pearl was doing. I can't tell you how much her advice has helped us navigate the more challenging aspects of puppyhood. The key things she emphasized were socialization, resting in the crate, reward on timing, and building a relationship through play. This is making a world of difference! Before Cat our overwhelm was really building, and after our puppy lesson we are enjoying our puppy so much more!

This training has transformed our dog. Catherine worked with him for a month and he came back so well behaved and able to follow many helpful commands. Cat is excellent. My partner and I brought our anxious, reactive German shepherd mix to her and we could not be more happy with the outcome! One of my biggest fears going into the 4 week long train and board program was that our dog (Bella) would lose her personality and that is so far from the truth! My German Pinscher came to Catherine to set good foundation for obedience. Catherine will teach your dog and the pet owner the tools for a life long obedient dog.
