tried-and-true methods that make the process both easy and fun for you and your dog.

New Puppy?

Did you get a new puppy? Or are you getting one soon? The early part of a puppy's life is very important, and can influence their behavior for the rest of their life.

​

I offer a one-hour lesson to teach the do's and dont's of interacting with a new puppy covering the essentials (such as potty training, crate training, socialization, and more). A part of the fees for this lesson will be deducted from the price of the four-week board and train program. 

​

(Note that to ensure their safety and health, I offer board and train for puppies 16 weeks or older with a full set of shots.)

A well-trained dog is less at risk of getting into a fight with another dog, getting lost, running away, or biting a human being.

Private Lessons

 

  • Basic Obedience: Through a series of lessons, I'll give you the tools you need to communicate more effectively with your dog to improve behavior. Basic skills will include sit (stay), down (stay), waiting at the door, place, loose leash walking, and come (recall).

 

  • Puppy Classes: You'll learn the do's and dont's of puppy training. The first 16 weeks of a puppy's life are extremely important.

 

  • Behavioral Issues: In your home, or anywhere a bad behavior is occurring, we can work together to address it.

 

  • Tricks: I can show you how to use Clicker Training to teach your dog a variety of tricks, (such as High 5, Roll Over, Target, Touch and many more). Teaching tricks is an interesting and fun way to interact with your dog and stimulate its mind.
