ABOUT US

I'm originally from France but have been here in Texas for 24 years. My love and passion for animals (and especially for dogs) brought me to the world of dog training. I graduated from the Triple Crown School of Dog Training (now called Starmark Academy) in 2010. Since that time, I've worked full time as a professional dog trainer, establishing Catfordogs and training hundreds of dogs of virtually every breed. I've continued my professional education by attending seminars and clinics on a regular basis.

I titled my German Shepherd Dali in IPO3 (formerly called Shutzhund and now IGP). I’m now starting a new challenge with my Dutch Shepherd Tango in IGP. It’s a sport with three phases: Tracking, Obedience and Protection. This is a dog sport which requires discipline, precision, hard work, clear communication and a strong bond between dog and handler.Competing in a sport with high level of precision is important to stay in contact with the best handlers in the world to keep learning and improving. Participating in the sport keeps me abreast of the evolution of dog training.

Your life is busy, you’re going on vacation, and you’re struggling with this new pup.

Board and Train is the most effective method for your dog to become a responsible member of your household.

Enrich the relationship you and your family have with your dog and make the most of your lives together. When communication is clear, then life is better.

PRIVATE LESSON

Did you get a new puppy? Or are you getting one soon? The early part of a puppy's life is very important, and can influence their behavior for the rest of their life.

You have a swimming pool or you want to enjoy the Texas lakes and rivers with your dog.

CLIENTS
TESTIMONIAL

 - DUDLEY -

Catherine is simply amazing and has been a saving grace for our family. I was going to have neck surgery and would not be able to handle our nine month old Lab, Dudley. We dropped Dudley off on June 30 and left him with Catherine for a month. Catherine sent us videos almost every day. Dudley has returned to our family well behaved with great manners. Thank you Catherine for your patience and the wonderful gift that you have for working with dogs.
